For our first CLEA Webinar, Christa DiMarco, the new Director of Writing in the Liberal Art Division at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, explained how she unified the First-Year Writing classes by developing course objectives and a curriculum that outlines the reading and writing processes of academic writing. She also spoke about the assessment project she designed to study the reading and writing levels of first-year writing students. Christa presented her materials for about 40 minutes, and then responded to questions. She is posting materials for those who are interested in learning more!
